Hooray ... got me car back

Finally ....
Last seen four months ago when I left it in a shipping company warehouse ... and just after that, myself, my wife, and two dogs board a jumbo at heathrow, bound for Phoenix, Arizona and a new life in the sun ! Y'see, just like the dogs, this car is part of the family, and just like our personal belongings, the car was squeezed into a container and put on a slow boat to nowhere fast, in fact, the cars journey was far more interesting than our ten hour flight, apparently, she called in at Tel Aviv en route :o en route !! more like some kind if diversion, eventually docking at Miami where she stayed for a long time while a customs issue was resolved, further delays coming through Texas, no apparent reason, and then yesterday, eventually, turning up at the front door. Strangely, the young lad that backed it out of the truck and down the ramps seemed somewhat familier with the car and even took the opportunity to drive round the neighborhood for ten minutes before 'finding' a parking space, er, in the back yard..... and then the photo session .... Anyway, point is, all reunited and happy .. actually not all .. some belongings missing, but the car made it and I realised its the longest i've been without a morris for a very long time so I'm definatly happy and the car is going to be happy too. Nice warm weather and no salty wintery roads ever again. So ... a picture of her :D
Image
What's the story with a RHD drive car over there? Will you need to change it over?

I've seen various RHD cars out here so not legally required to be LHD, but ... I'm on the look out for a suitable steering rack anyway, it will be safer to sit on the left ... if nothing else, just to remind me to drive on the 'wrong side' of the road !

That should be fun, if you change the steering over, but not the pedals! :D :D

Nice ... wherabouts in PHX are you .. I used to live over there myself and am headed out that way in a couple of weeks ... I could probably fit a couple of loaves of real bread & some real tea bags in my case if you want :D

I wonder how long it will be before you give her a respray to a lighter, more reflective colour? Also you may be able to locate a new rack in North Phoenix - If I remember correctly there is an MGB specialist up that way, so they should be able to help you out.
