Well Mr Issigonis would have definitely had a look at this car before designing the Mog.

don't forget that the minor was originally a lowlight.
The body shape was very similar in side profile to an 40's American car... Guess where Issy had been to recently?

To tell the truth, it is so similar that I would not call it a new design! But since it was somewhat smaller Issy designed the mudguard round ends to overlap the front door, a new grille and Wham! the mog was born...
Dont know about the engine though...

Its a shame that was never developed really.
Anyone else noticed that the lowlight pic has been mirrored?

I did the mirroring to emphasize the similarity, sorry for that!
