309sre was the registration number of a 1957 morris minor 1000 4 door saloon in turquoise which was owned in the 60s by my grandfather, i was informed years ago by an enthusiast that the car had been re registered afa513a(i hate it when cars loose there plates) and was re registered in recent times on another age relate plate and built as a custom car. Did anyone own this car in the 70s 80s? i would love to see a later picture of it. I have a pic when my grandad owned it, what a period colour that turquoise was, really suited the minor if you ask me! It had indicators fitted in place of trafficators and those nice chrome sills. They seem quite rare in turquoise?
