not sure if this is the right section but can i get some opinions on how much this van is worth, needs a lot of work and is missing glass, the tops of the doors and some other bits, the chassis and most of the cab looked pretty solid when i viewed it but it does need new under sills both sides. i didn't view the van back as it was stored somewhere else but the owner told me it needs some guttering doing and an area around one of the rear corner.

p.s. great forum I've been lurking here for a little while.

well there looks to have been a lot of work done in the past and if its all complete then i would say its worth the £700.00 but it may go higher
but we are in a credit crunch so you may be lucky

the gutters will be the hardest to do and most expensive if you get some one to do them

but its only worth what one is prepared to pay

it is difficult to say

if it was all ready done and mot`d then upwards to £4000.00

so there are tthe 2 ends of the scale

btw complete wreecks are fetching £300.00 to £500.00

Its very hard to tell from pictures and having seen it (and with a view to buying) you would have to make your own mind up.

Personally I'd put it around about the £500 mark assuming that theres not a great deal of welding needing doing. The slotmags may persuade me to spend a few extra sheckles though

thanks for the quick replies,

am i right in thinking that the front door handles, door glass, top frame, windscreen, front bumper and grill surround are the same as on a 4 door saloon.

It looks pretty good - and not that much to do. I expect it to get just into 4 figures!

yes same as 4 door, except the front bumper is slightly shorter and is painted silver normaally

I expect it could sell at that price but you'd be better off time wise and financially getting something needing far less work, IMHO.
