There's been loads of new members joining the board recently. Just totted up the totals:
May - 110
June - 84
July - 85 (so far)
Nice to see so many people joining up - welcome to you all. Not every one has posted yet but don't be scared to come on here and introduce yourself, we won't bite

Hello,
I'm a recently new member (may i think). Just got my first Morris as a birthday present from my wife and my folks.
My dad restored a couple of Minors when I was little, and have loved them since.
I've posted a few questions already, but as i progress with the car, I'll be asking a lot more (and offering help where possible)!
Cheers,
Phil

Limegreen isn't far off the colour of my second Mini (A touch brighter). I called it slime green but then found out that the proper name was "Applejack green". I bought it as I wanted a runabout (Wasn't too bothered what colour it was), to save my MG Midget from the ravages of daily use (In those days commuting by bicycle wasn't really an option). It had 25000 on the clock when I bought it and it was a damned good little car.
I don't know who that is stood by the car.....he must be wearing a wig.

It's really good to see so many new members on the Board, welcome one and all. It would be even better if everyone joined the MMOC so that (a) they could get the benefits of a good magazine, good (and cheap!) insurance, and all the other bits and pieces and (b) their really very small subscription would help to fund this Board and keep it going for everyone's benefit.
I'd stress that that's not a winge, complaint, or harassment, just a fervent hope that the MMOC continues to thrive and serve, for which we need members.

Welcome to the site Zamo. You're the 110th person to join this month

Whereabouts are you? It might be useful to add your location to your profile as there might be other website members local to you who could help with your search.

Well I'm a new member this month.
The car belonged to my late farther and although it's strictly my mothers, I treat the car as mine. He's a pic prior to the complete new interior going in this month. Should finish the inside next week.

Also dont be afraid to call your local club and ask them to come out with you to check the car out ... there will be someone local to you who will know their bum from their bendy arm and will be able to give you an idea whether the car you are looking at is worth what the vendor is asking.
