Hello,
I have 3 kids, a Fiat Multipla and a Saloon. One of them has to go and I've decided to keep the kids and the Morris 1000, so it will have to be the Multipla.
What I'd like to do is to see if it would be possible to fit an an extra seat in the back of a traveller. Does anyone think this is possible or is this as much of a ridiculous idea as it sounds?

One issue you could have is insurance. There are some classics listed for 5 people, but a Minor isn't one of them.

where to break down next?

not that uncommon to carry 3 children in the rear - with correctly fitted belts I don't see why there should be a problem, but insurance companies class the minor as 4 seater, and that is rather off-putting.have fitted seatbelts for 5 occupants.
Not quite the same as adding more seats in a traveller though.

Yeah, and bolting the seats down is no major hardship, just drill some holes and weld nuts on the other side, maybe weld in an extra plate to spread the load, but so long as you are sensible I cant see any actual safety issues ... insurance might be a different thing, but if you are over-careful then I cant imagine insurers being that difficult with you.
After all, they want your money.
