I think I spotted Aupickup?

Post by Dean »

Is he on a northern tour?

Could have swore I spotted a very familiar white two door Minor *** 777G about 10:15 am going north up the M42 just turning onto the M6.

A great looking example of a Minor if it was him. :D

He's just gone on MOT UK so unless you caught the whole lot, I suspect it might not have been him...

Didn't notice any other Minors around sorry.

Does he have bushy greying hair, with I think side burns? I was going to poot and wave but didn't in the end.

The description definately fits Aupickup, and the M6 is the most likely route he'd be taking to the lake district, so I'd say it's him.

As in a mustache?

If that's what you mean no.... I was overtaking in my Yaris and he was looking away from me as he was just turning left onto the M42/M6 contraflow.

Shame I didn't see any others, I hope he didn't have problems and was delayed slightly.

It was probably him - no others they're all making their own way there. :D

Welcome back!!! I regret not tooting my horn now, your car was generating quite a bit of interest on the section of motorway I saw you. Hope you had a great time.

Can't wait until mines on the road, I'd love to do this sort of stuff.

Welcome back - glad you had a good time. I've never been but hope to one day :-) Perhaps you should start a new MOT thread so everyone can upload their photos and stories.
