Just noticed the choke cable doesn't locate in the housing - perhaps the wong one has been fitted. Do you see this as a problem? Choices are get a new one that fits or take off the metal end on the existing one - what do you experts thing?
Image
Looks like it should fit in. It's common with these cables to miss the seating and have them perched on the edge like that (done it a few time on my bike  ) Taking the metal end off shouldn't cause a problem - it's only there as a finisher to keep the plastic sheath tidy.

Yep - best fitted in if you can - otherwise the cable is going to wear - but not for a while ! would be much more worrying if it was the accelerator cable - since you don't seem to need to use your choke - it should last for ever!

 I'm rather hoping I will have to use the choke tomorrow now that the mixture has been fixed :D I'll let you know.
