Better get back to it then....

Post by jmcar »

Well finally, after about 18-24 months, I'm going to get to uncover my old traveller and have another stab at getting her back on the road :P

With all the welding completed in my last stint down the off-side, there's just the near side to complete the removal of rusty bits. Before I do this however, I've just got agreement from Mrs Bank Manager to treat myself to a new set of woodwork - yeay!

Gonna purchase 2 complete and assembled new sides from ESM, unless anyone else has a better idea. Then I can finish welding, fit new wood and eventually get round to fitting the complete new interior that's sat in my dad's loft for the last 2-3 years.

I'll try and post some more pics on here when I get started again :) Wish me luck.

Traveller timber is not the easiest job in the world, but take a methodical approach and you should be OK. Best of luck with it.....

Thanks, it's a big job but one that needs doing to get the old girl to live again. Me and me dad'll give it a good shot and see how it fits together ;)
