Is there any reason why the front of any Minor could not be used to make a cab for a pick-up to be fitted to a pick up chassis?? I notice the replacement panel part numbers differ.

No, if you want a wider door'ed pick-up it seems quite usual to use a Traveller donor front. It does need quite a bit of work to fabricate it to a cab back, but it can and has been done. The cab is then mounted on the pick-up chassis

The commercial's have a different floor / sill / crossmember arrangement - however it's not that different.

It's quite common to use a 4 door donor shell to make a 'standard' pick-up / van cab. For a bigger cab (with slightly bigger doors, but more importantly, more legroom) a 2 door or traveller saloon shell can be used.

Thanks for quick response. Am looking at cabriolet shell on ebay at the moment. Seems a shame to chop it in half after all the work that seems to have been done but I am really struggling to find a new front end for my cab.

the 'lack of roof' would be a problem for mopst people.
However if it's a factory convertible, the top of A post + screen surround should easily find a home.

My cab/pickup has a good roof and rear cab panel so I though I could graft it onto top of cabriolet screen surround or remove cabriolet screen frame and fit my screen frame, roof and rear panel. Hopefully not too ambitious?
