Kakadu Lunch Run

The local Motor Vehicle Enthusiasts Club had a run from Darwin to the Bark Hut Inn for lunch. 240km return trip, not a bad day all up.
Waiting for Palmerston members at Wishart Siding. Some of the vehicles on the run included a Talbot, Zephyr, a couple of Triumphs (3 including a Triumph motorcycle), a Mercedes limousine, a Model A truck, a Buick convertible the size of the HMS Illustrious (unfortunately he suffered a breakdown and dropped out) and my Mog.

Up on top of Beatrice Hill, overlooking some of the Kakadu wetlands. Not too wet this time of year though, the monsoon kicks in in late October.
