they truely are a great carby, beat the hell out of the hitachi POS on the datsun 1200 engine. I love how the SU cold-starts so easily, car just leaps into life and runs solidly from cold.

With the hitachi you need to constantly adjust the choke, keep it on till the thermostat opens otherwise the engine runs like crap.
