Glove compartment - Chrome surround

I have a 1957 Minor 1000.

i notice that for minor 1000, the pictures online they have chrome surround around the glovebox cover. (As shown in pictures below)

Mine does not have one. Is it a option last time?<br>Image<br><br>Image<br>

A 57 car wouldnt have the chrome surrounds, they came in around 1959 and only stayed for a couple of years.

i presume the mods you refer is the aircon 8)

my country is pretty hot 35-36degreeC so i need it sometimes haha.

My radio is hidden in the drivers glove compartment.

I love the colors of your seats with white trim and nice looking carpets you have. Most of all love your fire extinguisher :P

Hi Andrew, not an original mirror but certainly a peroid one and lots of Minors have them fiited. Minors only ever came with the interoir mirror fitted, any wing or door mirrors would have been an optional extra.
