Hello Folks.

What can i use to seal my exhaust it is leaking.

It makes what i can describe as a psssssssssssssssssssss noise when accelerating.

It is leaking at the clamp that holds the exhaust to the manifold.

I had the same problem, must be something peculiar to 1969 Trafalgar Blue Moggies

Tried the copper wire trick as shown in Minor Matters but it made no difference.
In the end cleaned both mating surfaces with a drilled powered wire brush and then emery paper, and the same with the clamp, applied plenty of exhaust paste and seems to have worked.
Make sure you put the carb spring bracket in the right position

Clean it (as above) clamp it up into place with a jack below - and fit a good clean clamp with a smear of paste. Should be fine - if the exhaust system is suitably supported. Some fit a brace bracket from the engine backplate - shown recently in a similar thread - search for it!

I'll go along with those suggestions but add to them by saying make sure you clean off all the gunk on the manifold - all around the 'doughnut' where the clamp fits to and on the mating face where deposits can look very much like casting. It will go shiny when you get to metal.
Also do get a two bolt clamp and do them up evenly. When it starts to hold the manifold without feeling loose, grab the down pipe and wiggle whilst pulling up. Often you find the clamp loosens off as it all centres up.

Once you get the bracket fitted make sure you use the cast manifold clamp (garages don't stock them) Bull Motif are now selling them for about £6. http://www.morrisminorspares.net/shop_item.php?ID=2093 Certainly fixed mine although I did have to obtain another exhaust as the flange had become so worn with multiple fixes!!!
