Bedford Branch Tea Shop run - 18th July

Johnsons, a tearoom at the UK’s only crocodile farm (at Church Street, Old Hurst near Huntingdon PE28 3AF) which also has ostriches, hopefully kept well away from the crocs!. Only a few miles away at The Heath, St Ives Road, WoodhurstPE28 3BT) there is the Raptor Foundation http://www.raptorfoundation.org.uk/index.html which holds displays of birds of prey, and also has refreshments, entry costs around £3.50 to £4.50.

Our programme for Saturday 18th July is:

10.45 Meet at Raptor Foundation car park
11.00 Tour of Raptor Foundation
12.00 Raptor Flying display
13.00 – 13.45 Lunch (picnic or at Raptor Foundation café)
13.45 – 15.00 Drive around local area (route to be confirmed)
15.00 ish Johnson’s Farm & cream tea

The Cambs branch are being invited too.

OH no. I live right by there and am a member of the Cambs branch but I am working that day :(
