Clutch and g/box

Post by 8009STEVE »

Is the ribbed box a 1098 box? If I want to fit it to a 948, do I need a 1098 flywheel and clutch?

Yes - and the 1098 backplate which is thicker than the 948 one....

I believe the ribbed 1098 box can be used directly on a 948 engine/flywheel/clutch - if you use the 948 release fork and carbon thrust.
