Hi all,
I've aquired the above cyl head which i intend to fit to an Ital engine However the heater take off at the rear LHS of the head hasnt been bored through, although the facility is there. Is it OK just to drill this through and is it a machine shop job?
Thanking you in anticipation :(

Just shove a drill bit through! The fixing stud holes will be there ok - and threaded - but you should really run a 1/4" unf tap down the holes before using them. I assume it has no bypass connection ?

Hi Roy,
Thanks for that. Yes,no by pass connection. Have sourced all the parts now so your dizzy and pushrods will soon be coming back
to life again.
Best regards Keith

Have you got a problem with the head that's on there? If is a 1275 Ital engine it will already have a 12G940
Unless your spare is a large valve derivative........

Oh nice.
I've just ported my 'standard' 12G940 with good results. Might finish off the MG metro head I've got lying around too. :D
