Round Heater

Post by psjorge »

Hi,

I'm just finishing the restoration of my '54 Minor and recently bought an original heater, the round gold-painted Smiths. However, i'm having a bit of a trouble fitting it. Can someone please share some info and some pics on how it is secured to the car?

Many thanks,
Pedro

There should be a bracket on the front of the heater near the top with two holes in it. Line this up with the seam below the switches, drill two small holes in the seam and secure the heater with two self tapping screws.
There should also be a bracket near the bottom of the front of the heater with one hole. This attaches to the parcel shelf rail in the same manner
