Everyone is most welcome, with or without the Minor! The National Rally Team have already left for Sparkford to start the rally build-up so no more forms can be processed.

If you have a completed form bring it with you as this will save time on arrival. See you all there!

Please excuse my ignorance, but I havent looked into the national yet. My cars not finished but I'd like to make a day trip up there, when and where is it and how much is it if your just a visitor?

The Rally is at Haynes Motor Museum, nr Yeovil, Somerset. All details in Minor Matters Page 14/15. Admission £12.00 on the day, on production of a membership card, which will give you concessionary entry rates to the Haynes museum. You don't have to bring your Minor if it's not finished.

I've already booked, but if a non-member came along in my car how much extra would they have to pay to get in?

The rally entry fee is per car, so you don't pay any extra how ever many passengers you have. I assume a non-member would have to pay the normal rate for entry to the museum but as the 'concessionary' rate hasn't been published it's difficult to know how much extra they'd pay.

Does this mean that it is £12 just to park up with the Minors?
Plus even more per person to go into the museum
Or have I got it wrong?

Yes - you can go to the rally for free by getting a lift, but if you want to take your Minor and help make it a good event, you get charged for it.

My thoughts too, seems a lot just to park up for the day........

The £12 gets you access to the rally, not just a parking space. There's traders, autojumble, childrens entertainment, craft stalls, not forgetting hundreds of Minors to look at and people from here to meet and chat to.

Personally, I can do without the childrens entertainment and flower arranging but rummaging through the autojumble and meeting people from here justifies the entrance fee as far as I'm concerned

If it's their Group Rate it will be Adults £6.95 and Children £3.25

The 2009 charges are:

Adult £7.95
Child 4 - 15 yrs £4.25
Sen Cit/Disabled £6.95
Family A (1Adult + 1 child) £10.95
family B (2 Adults + 3 children) £25.75

These are not discounted prices for MMOC members as I'm afraid I don't know the discount

Just spoke to the ticket office. The discount is £1.00 of the above prices, per person, on production of MMOC Club Card.

Yes I thought it would be their Group Rate, we have had a website rally there before.

Please remember that the £12 you pay goes directly to the costs of putting on the event - toilets/marquees/printing of programmes/rally plaques etc have to be hired in at considerable cost.

And you get free advice and friendly banter for a few days so a fair price really but I can see how a day visitor might think its a little high.
