Yes!!, you did read right. A Morrie Housetruck. Here is your opportunity to purchase a truly unique, eyecatching & collectable classic, affectionately known as "Baby" (formerly "Strawberry Fields"). She runs like a dream, 1000cc motor is mechanically sound & reliable. Does not smoke, rattle or use oil. She has just had an extensive brake overhaul, new doors fitted, new fuel pump & new front tyres. Registration is less than $80 per year. The house is a sturdy steel frame construction, clad in Shadowboard. A cozy wee house with a beautiful feel & tastefully decorated. (Personal items not included in sale). The couch makes into a 3/4 bed with enough room to be comfortable & the loft can easily accommadate a child. The truck is fited with heavy duty springs & air shocks & is very stable on the road. According to an article on this truck in the book "The NZ Morris Minor Story", she is only 65kg heavier than a factory Morrie van. Comes complete with A-frame, is wired for towing & literally buckets full of spare Morrie parts. We have travelled extensively throughout the South Island with this wee beauty, she drives well & gets attention wherever it goes. This unique housetruck would suit someone wanting an auxillary vehicle that is different from the norm. You can zip around town, day trip, overnight at friends & have the luxury of a spare room. "Baby" is a reluctant sale, as we have another project on the go. I am sure someone out there will fall in love with this wee cutie & will be able to give her the loving home she deserves, just as we have. She is more than just a truck, she is personality plus. Current Reg & Wof, will put new warrant on for buyer. Any questions welcome. Genuine enquiries only please. Happy bidding.
Q: Hi there. What a beauty! Does she have a fridge?
A: No. She does have a wee 2 hob gas cooker tho. When we have gone away for a weekend in it, we just used a polystyrene container under the couch. There is quite a bit of storage there. She certainly is a beauty, you won't see too many of these about.
