Want to respray the glovebox and drivers side panel of the dashboard.

Just wondering if anyone else has done it and what colour I can get that will be a close match to the original colour.

The difficulty will be in masking off everything else - so the paint doesn't go where it's not wanted!

Easy enough, you just un bolt the glove box lid and inst. panel cover and hang them on a piece of wire. The difficult bit is painting the switch panel. The steering column and parcel shelf bar are also the same colour.

It's a 54 so I presume he means the gold dash panels (removable).
Steering column comes off fairly easily too.

Yes the panels are removable.

What I really need is someones opinion on what is the closest colour I can pick up in somewhere like Halfords.
