swaping early and late Fuel gauges

Post by leyther8008 »

Is there any way to put an early fuel gauge (white face) into a later car? no matter which way I put the wires it seems to read backwards.

You will need to fit an early type sender to match it as the resistances work in opposite directions from full to empty. plus the early one wont need the voltage stabiliser
