Starter motor

Post by katiekat »

Hi everyone!

Does anyone know if a Morris Minor starter motor is the same as an Austin A30 one? I need a new one as the old one keeps sticking.

Thanks for any advice!

This is the engine:
Image
Don't buy a 'new' one - plenty of scond-hand ones around. Generally - they just need a good cleaning and possibly the brushes freed off - unless the problem lies in the Bendix - which can be renewed.
