A good coating with copper grease, especially into unused holes, will keep them good for years.

Should Copper Grease be used on electrical connections ?

Possibly not, Kevin. I would have thought petrolium jelly (Vaseline) might be better.

I smeared Vaseline all over the ones that I fixed and then taped them in electrical tape. Don't know if it will do the trick but it's better than nothing.

You should not have a problem Dizzy as Vaseline is what`s recommended for the battery terminals.

What a very strange euphemism! lol Can't help but wonder if Kevin had thought of that one...
I think you can put copper grease on electrical connections (I've seen it advertised with "battery terminals" as an application), but since it's metallic might it not cause shorting?

HaHa Very Good
I put vick on mine
With a name like Rasputin I suppose you just like the smell of it to mask the underbonnet smells.

Yup there is, some times it comes out as "Chelsea Supporter" sometimes its "Oops I typed a naughty word" and the other one I have noticed is "I love Skodas" or something along those lines, it makes for a confusing post

With this messageboard and the club in general being 'family based' we have to have a filter. These are the club rules, which is why sometimes if someone has been 'clever' and spaced out a swearword or 'tricked' the filter then the moderators have to step in and remove it!
I am very much for freedom of speech in general, but if it's a family oriented club then I suppose we can all behave!!
although I did get the word 'bleeding' removed from the filter as talking about brakes was getting difficult!!
