I've just been showing my smart-DONT SWEAR OR YOU WILL BE BANNED journalist son photographs of the Minor - re-named Betsy Blue - I've bought from katiekat and he says, "Dad, one of the wing mirror's is round, and the other is rectangular. They can't both be right, so which one needs replacing?"

And, of course, I can't answer him! Betsy Blue is G reg, by the way - PWK 420G.

Anyone got the answer?

Either, both or none.

Wing mirrors were available from the dealers as an option and depending on where the dealer was determined which type of mirror you got...

Both of mine (a '60 & a '61) have different mirrors. One has a tapered, angular rectangular shape and the other has a more rounded but still tapered shape to it. My mates '69 has round mirrors and my other mates '63 has no mirrors at all - Bottom line - Choose what YOU prefer :-)

Either way you'll only have to replace one as they are all still available. :D
