Yes, we ran an article on it in Minor Matters a few years ago. Trouble is, there are literaly hundreds and hundreds of them, from fleeting glimpses in Nat west commercials, through to appearences in the Commonwealth Games and Heartbeat, and Open all Hours, and Lovejoy, and.....well, you know what I mean!

I made the mistake of renting 'Signs' the other day. (dreadful film - don't bother

) It's one saving grace was seeing the back end of a moggy on a news clip. Most unexpected in a film about aliens landing in the mid-west US of A.

Yes, I saw that too! I stood up in the whole cinima and exclaimed my surprise. Those alians have a great taste in cars to linger around...

Amanda Holden (Steve Wright, Radio 2 today) said that her fave car is the "Minor 1000". Did you spot the one in "American Graffiti" too?

A LHD white 2-door 1000 saloon appears throughout the film 'Why Me?'
driven by Christopher Lloyd ( yes Dr. Emmott Brown) and Christopher Lambert (yes Connor McCleod)

I thought signs was quite good (if you ignore the plot - which is mandatory with every American movie anyway...)

Apparently my series 2 convertible was used by the BBC in 2001/2002, unfortunatly the gentleman i bought him from couldn't remember the name of the programme. He thought it was something like 'The girl?..' I would love to find out. Whilst they were filming the radiator burst and they put in a new one free of charge!

There was a light blue saloon in "In Denial of Murder" on BBC1 last Sunday... It's on again tonight, so keep your eyes open during the flashbacks, if you're watching.
