Please can people post pictures of their boot closing plates as mine can still be undone when locked. I'm not sure if it's seating properly so I'm asking for pictures of working latches as I have nothing for reference.

Look at the lock itself, not the receiving plate. Mine was the same when I bought her and the metal around the lever had bent from been forced over the years. I simply reshaped the shroud and all was well ( this will hopefully be more obvious when you look at it than my bad description )
