Hello, my 54 morris traveller has a MOWOG 3 engine in it. Can anyone tell me what was the story is with these apparently "sub-contracted" engines?

MOWOG simply stands for MOrris & WOlseley Garages and is stamped onto most genuine parts - It is the equivalent of "Unipart" today.
