Would anyone know where I might obtain a Radio suitable for installing in my recently purchased 1965 Morris Minor? She's a four door, Morris 1000 (1098) with a dynamo rather than an alternator.

If you are after a period radio then auto jumble stands or ebay might be your best bet. If you want a modern radio with CD player etc then any car radio shop should be able to help.
If you are fitting a radio, particularly a modern one then you will need to convert the car from positve earth to negative earth

Hi, first of all you will need to check whether your Minor is wired positive (As they were built) or negative earth. The vast majority of radios/cd players etc are only suitable for negative earth vehicles. Have a look which battery lead is bolted to the body, chances are its already been converted to negative earth, most of them have by now. If its still positive earth you will need to change it to negative unless you want to hunt around for a positive earth radio.

What sort or radio are you looking for? Something in period with the car or a modern unit? Period radios turn up all the time on ebay etc but their sound quality is nowhere near as good as a modern one. You can mount the radio in the passenger side glovebox so that its out of sight from thieves and the cars interior looks original, or mount it below the parcel shelf, those are just two suggestions, no doubt someone will suggest other ideas.
