You could try Europa. They do a Mini speedo in MPH or KM/H

Eire uses kilometers, you could see if the Irish Minor Club has a website.

You need a speedo with the same TPM as you have now.

Export Minis obviously had KPH speedos - so there should be plenty about that will slot straight in. And yes - you need to match the 'tpm' figure - which = Turns per Mile - so dunno how they worked that with KPH speedos !!!!!

Stewart,
Here's a photo of mine. It has both miles and kilometers. I don't know what the TPM is as I don't really want to take it out. They should be easy to source on ebay. Or are you looking for Kilometers only? <br>

Stweart,
Have a look at this. It might be what you are looking for. Perhaps worth contacting him to check the TPM. It is also dual scaled but the main scale is in k's.

Thanks Declan will try this one even if I just exchanged the dials if the TPM is wrong.
Thanks to all the others for the info.

Declan - yours is 1408 TPM - says so on the dial!
The Italian one seems to be a 3 figure 'TPM' - but can't make out the figures. But there is the possibility of course that they used a KPM figure on KPH speedos - I have no idea !

The later cars with the 4.22 diff had the 1408 TPM speedo which had the KPH indicator on it too - as per Declans photo

Give Speedy Cables a ring, they manufacture the Smiths guages nowadays, you can specify exactly what you want.

I suppose, on Monday, I may be able to do a comparison with a leccy drill and try too work out whether its TPM or TPK on the KPH speedo

I have a kph one in the garage that says " 620 ". I guess this means TPK.

Ahh - useful information! That 620 TPK would be equal to 992 in TPM. - which is actually a bit low for even a 3.7 diff. But not too far away. Hmmm.
