First move - get the seller to send you lots of pictures (and then share them with us) - and do a vehicle check to find out if it has been crashed/rebuilt - and/or has any Finance outstanding on it! There are LOADS of MGFs for sale - so no need to jump at the first one !

It even tells you on the advert page how to run an HPI check! But it does look a nice car - although quite 'optimistically' priced I think. Agree a price before flying over - and get the seller to meet you at the airport in the car! If you find any problems -either re-negotiate, or walk away. tell him you have 3 other cars to see if he quibbles. Car sales here are really really down at the moment - you should be able to get a very good deal. How will you then get it home ?

I might be driving it, depends if I find a co driver! if not off to northampton to ship it over, thanks for the tips! I did notice the price! but cheaper cars tend to have much higher mileage, and I'd prefer to pay a bit more for lower mileage it's still a vey good price to what I would get in Malta!
