this shows how good the goverment is,as you know i work for royal mail.we were told last week, that we would be delivering a swine flu leaflet next week and they are high prioiaty and they would have tobe done by friday.they have not arrived yet.i was told today that they would not arrive till next week.so in the meantime please dont get ill untill the leaflet comes through your letterbox.while im in rant mode,i notice that there is a trial period for id cards in manchester.the goverment is split on this, the public dont want it.ive got id on me with my photo driving licence and work id card.is this just another waste of money.i think you have to pay for them.i might have the wrong end of the stick, but to me it shows the goverment are going to push this through.our driving licences and passports should be enough.

£30 they are I believe Dale. Can't see the point if they're voluntary. Just another thing to lose!

Our flu leaflet arrived today - 'wash your hands' is the advice, nothing more than that. So don't panic if you haven't got the leaflet - it's not worth having.
Dale - just dump them behind a hedge - not worth delivering!

Given the severity of swine flu, I hope that I live long enough to receive my leaflet

Still not arrived in today's post. I'm starting to panic. Must catch the postie tomorrow and enquire of its whereabouts.
Maybe they missed the stamp off and I'll have to collect it from the sorting office and pay the excess postage.

I'm more likely to catch something from our "Postie" (no offence Dale). He's a really messy looking slob - looks like he's slept in his uniform and filthy trainers

More paper to recycle

Cost about ten million to tell us to use a tissue and wash our hands

utter lunacy - the world's gone mad (apart from us of course)

Confused! No but don't understand why you ask the question. Did I miss something?
Odd - the strange post I'm replying to has disappeared!!

A strange (Norwegian?) mountain cave living being

not to be confused with the '70's plastic things made by Mattel!

I had a trip to Madrid at the weekend and had to wait for my luggage amongst a load of people in Somberos and face masks from the previous flight in. Weekend went downhill after that.

Hides under the bridge to try and eat the billy goats!
In web parlance, a troll is an irritating little scrote who joins a forum with the intent to wind everyone up and cause arguments.....

And on Lous comments about her postie..... ours is a jolly nice bloke, randomly bumped into him in tescos the other day and didn't recognise him without the uniform

he knows us both by name (rather than address), and the dog LOVES him....

Unless you've been to Mexico, you're more likely to get a deadly infection from the paper cut from the wasted paper.

We should all send the leaflet back to Mr Brown with a note asking him not to bother wasting our taxes again ... ffs, what use is a leaflet? ... I'd much rather he spent the money on anti-viral medicines ... it's not like the media wont take great delight in giving us the same information much more quickly and without costing the taxpayer a penny.
Sheesh ... can anyone say CLUELESS ... sigh, if only there were a decent alternative, even the lib-dem's have gone pants since they got rid of Charlie Kennedy
