Does anyone know the whereabouts of this car, trying to trace it for a friend who owned it as a first car? Thanks for any help.

Don't give up hope though we have had 2 that had been off the road - one for 15 years and the other for nearly 20. The first we restored and is driven almost daily the second is being worked on now And another in the pipeline....... It way be lurking in someone's garage.

Thanks for the information and encouragement! My Minor was off the road for 18 years before full retoration so it is possible that YCV 679 could appear again.

I would also like to find this minor as it was my mums first car in the early 80's and the colour was changed to red.

Any info would be helpful.

Apply to DVLA for a history file , it will cost £5 and will show the last owner , a good place to start ?
