looks a nice job especially around the dials on the centre consul which looks like it could have so eaily gone wrong.

Awesome. What speedo did you use? And what diff is it coupled to?
It's got me thinking.

ha, that is one of the "not finished" bits! the speedo is a late mgb one and is exactly the same size as the early minor ones(as per my sig pic) so fits great. no cable as yet as its a fiat box i need to get one made up, so cant tell if it will be out or not...the diff is a marina 3.9

How did you make the two rectangular gauges change from white to dark faces ? Current fashion in Mini world is to change all dials to white face, you seem to be going backwards!!

That looks pretty good!

actually bmc...one of the gauges is rectangular, the other is round. rather odd that they did that, but hey, all good fun! and the way i did it was to buy a NOS black version of the same fuel gauge, and for the oil pressure just a standard 52mm smiths oil pressure gauge. the reason i went black is so that they matched the ones in the centre dash panel. it would have been ridiculously expensive to source cream/magnolia/white versions of the other three!
i think i did it without it looking too much like a bodge...
