Flasher

Advice please... My indicator flasher unit is hanging beneath the steering wheel inside the car, is it right to have the flasher inside or should it be mounted on the bulkhead in the engine bay? I checked a friends Moggy and theirs is in the engine compartment mounted onto a bolt that holds the negative battery lead electrical block thingy? However, it doesn't look as if mine has ever been fixed here as the bolt is pretty rusty and looks as if it hasn't seen a spanner since fitted?

Any ideas?

Yes normally attached to the bulkhead or inner wing but it does not matter from a function point of view.....

You can hear it ticking if it is inside. It should be bolted to something though

I would also say it's so the PO could hear it ticking rather better!
