My daughters now like the Minor!

When we first bought the Traveller a year ago (for restoration) both my daughters aged 10 and 14 said they did not want to go in it when it was finished as it was not cool :(

Since the Minor has been back on the road they have had the odd quick trip in it but with the school holidays this week I have been using the car every day for a run and to take the dogs for a walk. They decided to come with me the first day and then every day since and now like the car :D -I think it was the sliding windows that won them over

At least there is no more complaints about going in the car now although the still wonder why everyone looks at it

My 2 kids are only 6 and 3 but I can't keep them out of the Moggies - They even want to play in them on the driveway :-)
Probably change when they get older though :-(

my 3 year old loves moggies apart from the fact she does not like going out in the convertible with the hood down.. we get floods of tears every time!

My daughters when they were at home insisted on going by Moggie when they were going to parties or out for a night as everyone looked in their direction when they got out of the car :D

A friends 15 year old daughter used to love it when her dad borrowed the Minor, she loved the attention it generated.
A friend of hers wanted to "make an entrance" at the end of year ball of her rather nice school. The year previously she had a daimler to arrive in and wanted to go one better. Answer = Morris Minor. It worked, the reactions were as hoped. I wish I had a photo of the car there.

my mate borrowed my morry to go to the school ball. Pity it broke down on the way lol. they were worried they were going to push it there!

just a feature of the lucas electrics kicking in, a twiddle of the wires and they were off again!

All 3 of ours went to their Proms in modern stretched limos but asked if they and their friends could come home in the moggies. We decked them out in ribbons and collected them and their friends afterwards. They said it made the prom! :D

That is the bit that really does it for my daughter & her friends, especially when they realised the back section slides too!

Strangely (as it is the same effect as winding a window down), but somehow sliding the window open makes them feel nearer to being outside! :-?
