Drain holes

Hi all,

I've recently bought a MM1000 (1960) 2 door saloon. It had been resprayed and generally it's a pretty good job, but... they seem to have filled in the drain holes at the top of the wings where inner wing buts up to outer just adjacent to the bonnet hinges (does that make sense?). Is this likely to cause a problem with rot over time? Should I try and clean out the holes and if yes any ideas how I can do this without it looking a mess?

Yes it's important to keep these clear. If it is filled gentally prise out any filler. I use a very thin garden cane (not bamboo) to keep these clear of leaves etc. These holes drain water from around the engine bay and off the roof.

Can someone post a picture on where these drain holes should be.
