currently i have my radio wired up separte from the ignition so it can be turned on with the engine off.
i was thinking could i wire the remote turn on on the radio to the ignition so it comes on with the engine like in a modern day car?
would this just mean adding another wire from the back of the ignition?
i was told that i should not leave the ignition on if the engine is not running as it gets too hot? is this correct?
and has anyone tried one of those glass mounted radio aerials? do they work ok?
separate to the radio has anyone added in a switch for the fuel pump so the car cant be driven off far incase of a theft?
and is it hard to change the braking switch which activates the brake lights? is there anything i need to be careful with when doing or is it as simple as it sounds
thanks
a few quick question about a radio/cd player

1 - there is no auxillary position on the ign switch so it's not a good idea to wire a radio through the ign.
2 - The glass mount aerials work best when stuck to the underneath or inside of the metal dash panel.
3 - Yes, lots of people.
4 - Brake switch is easy but you'll need to bleed the brakes after changing it.
