Hello!

Just bought my Morris Minor that's been standing for a year.

The battery seems like it's no good anymore.

Does anyone know where I could get a reasonably priced replacement?

Thanks a lot!

Kate

Costco are very good for batteries at a fair price. I'm afraid you paid a LOT at Hellfrauds!

How much is a battery at Costco?

Halfords is quite near to me but they are always expensive!

Yes - Hellfrauds are often convenient - but rarely have anything suitable for a Minor - and are always expensive! But - you have to balance convenience against travelling distance etc. Generally - parts are much less expensive at your local 'Autoparts' style of store. They may even be willing to give you some discount if you speak nicely to them!

Yes I only go because they are convenient and have lots of choice. The internet seems to be the best place for Minor parts and much cheaper than Hellfrauds!

I asked them how much a distibutor cap would be and they quoted £33! On ESM Spares they are £3.50. So they are 1000% more expensive! :o :o :o
