friend needs help quick

friend needs help quick to sell his 52 minor 4dr needs repair work but is unsure of how much the car is worth. has a Midget engine and gearbox with reg 61AWL can anyone give a reasonable valuation. has been offered £1500 cash but is unsure of the offer.

The age and specification of the car have very little to do with the value. It all comes down to condition. What repairs are needed and how is the rest of the car?

In the present climate I think you friend has had a fair offer.

Agreed the price seems more than fair, I assume he needs to sell it quick as its going to become an MOT failure shortly.

If the reg number is transferrable - then obviously that will have a value - but only when the car has an MOT ! Without MOT it can't be transferred. The engine is almost irrelevant - the amount of repair work is the determining factor on the value. If you post up some pics it may help us !
