Mini suppliers will sell you a 'cream' one- at a price. Dunno if they have the correct tpm number though!

and you can get silver mini ones. Its also pretty easy to get the face off so you can paint it any colour you like...

It will depend on what engine, diff, gearbox and wheels & tyres you have as to the tpm being correct....

Also, is this a straight swap, and how easy is it to remove / replace?

Thanks o moggygurus!

I think you'll be aiming for something like 1508 tpm for a standard set up....

ok PSL, cheers for that, but 1) what does the tpm stand for and 2) how do i know what the tpm is of the thing that i might be buying?

tpm is "turns per mile" and the number is shown on the speedo face just to the right of the serial number....

Mini speedos fit - with slight adjustment of the side brackets and relocation (ie bend) of the voltage stabiliser unit. But you need to get the correct tpm - and I don't think there is a Mini one suitable for 1098 diff. There is one perfectly suitable for a 3.7 diff! The first speedo you posted up from ebay is v expensive (because it has zero miles) - normally get a working one for less than £5.

As I said before, new Minor speedos are available in black, silver or magnolia in either mph or kph with the correct TPM, to read either 80, 90 or 130mph and require no modification.
Graham PM on its way today

Maybe at your local autojumble but down here they tend to go for a bit more than that and then there is postage.
