Hi all
Does anyone know if the seal for the gearbox tailshaft is the same as the pinion seal on the axle on a sidevalve 53 MM, as I bought a spare when I was replacing the pinion seal and need to replace the tailshaft seal on the gearbox.

Hi Ray

It has the sidevalve engine and box as fitted originally

Ah - in which case I have no idea what the tailshaft seal is like - sorry. I've only done the later gearboxes.
