Post by PSL184 »

I've done a sloon but not a Traveller - Any one got any tips / pointers / tricks etc. Easy job or pain in the rear end?
Thanks

You'll be needing a staple gun!! The ribs at the back should line up with the roof bars and be stapled on, front is more or less the same as a saloon with wires. Have you got one?

I found when fitting the rear part leave approx 6mm between seams and roof bars which allows the lining to move and be stretched.Fix headlining to sides and rear last using the trim pieces to add tension to the whole job.Having a fan heater or a hot day also helps as it makes lining more pliable.

6mm. Perfect, just what I needed to know.
