Now I know i can put pictures on here I have put one on of my Wood effect dashboard. I always wanted wood in a old car and this is the best I can do! It is only stick on and if you look to close at the edges I do have some ripples but overall I got the effect that I wanted for less than £10. Yes I know my washer switch is missing
Image

Image
I must say a lot better than i thought it would look. You should be proud of a job well done.

It is just stick on wood effect sheet that I bought on Ebay and it was around £6 for a roll. I tried to use a heat gun to get it to stick better on the bends but the angles are going all over the place  .

It reminds me of the earlier dash because of the colour. Looks surprisingly good. Nice work.

Looks a real touch of luxury. I was thinking when I eventually get round to restoring the interior of my car, I'd go for a mini-limousine look - sort of understated pimping! So, plenty of wood (would this wood effect work on the doorframes too I wonder), deep pile carpets, drinks cabinet....ejector seat....
