hey there,
I've just found a great looking moggie, but the down side is that the ceiling lining has quite a rip in it. I've no idea how much this would cost to fix, and before I put a bid on it, I'd like to get a better idea.
Cheers,
Chanelle

headlining is about 30 pounds I think, and takes a pro not very long to fit, so no more than 100 pounds all in I'd say

I think you will find that the splitscreen headling is more like £50 + fitting and the cost of the fitting will vary depending on where you live as the overheads and rates are a lot more in the London area than say Wales.

Headlinings are easy to fit yourself. They don't require any special tools or skills - just lots of patience
The biggest problem is refitting the glass afterwards as the rear screen has to come out (and side screens on a 2 door). Not impossible to do yourself but if not comfortable with it best left to Autoglass or similar....

Are you sure you have to remove rear and side screens?!
In that case I think my old knackered headlining is staying put!

Yes, rear screen defo (I may of had a brain fart over side screens - been working on some other classics a bit lately) sorry (to do the job as per factory anyways)
