We're close to becoming a two minor family
Mrs E has always wanted a traveller, so one will be duly collected on Friday morning (with a bit of luck). It's a project.
good points:
It's a traveller

Marina Engine
disk brakes
marina axle
It had a new floor 5-6 years ago then was waxoyled
bad points:
It needs new wood (all of it)
It's sat around for 4 or 5 years
It's white (OK, moot point, I don't love white cars, but Mrs E says they're trendy and she likes them. I'd like to give it the white pearlescent treatment, but apparently I'm not allowed

)
It reputedly has electric windows...yes, really. Not sure how they will fare, they may just become assigned to the great pile of parts at the back of my garage, or they may be the latest "must have" accessory, only time will tell!
I've just put a new roof on the garage and cleared it out, so obviously it needed to be filled again. Roll on Friday.

Sounds good.
White really suits the Traveller - a nice contrast against the wood.

Got her home on Thursday night. The wood is as bad as expected. It needs some work around the sills and front inner wings.
But
it's got telescopic dampers on the rear, polybushed all round and a tow bar, so good news. that's in addition to the other marina bits.
How do I know which Marina axle (i.e. the ratio) I've got? Is it stamped like a minor one?
The brakes are quite seized (obvious really, I'm going to drop them off and have a look) and the paint job isn't brilliant, but it's a great start to project traveller!
oh, and yes, it really does have electric windows!! Apparently a conversion kit that was around for a while using Sierra bits. No battery yet, but looking forward to trying them!
Will post piccies when I can find the camera
