I must be too used to my modern car
I was out for a drive in the Minor and while ambling along I tried to change up from 4th gear to 5th - not surprisingly I didn't find this extra gear so just left it in 4th

Its funny but I never have a problem with the old car, but when I get back in my daily drive I turn the wipers on instead of indicating and drive around in fourth forgetting fifth gear.

Our 'modern' is an auto. This has occassionally caused a problem when pulling away from traffic lights in a minor.....why isn't it moving?!!

Forgetting to cancel the indicators (every...single...time) is my contribution to giving Moggie drivers a bad name...sorry guys

I drive an automatic and make an utter fool of myself at traffic lights wondering why the car will not move!

Could I drive any 2 completely opposite cars?
My learner car is a diesel fiesta, and the Moggie is obviously petrol.
Should make it interesting tomorrow on my lesson, coming down the gears, turning the wipers on and steering more than necessary.
