In a local breakers today they had an MG Metro cylinder head, they want £46 all in. Do you think that's an OK price?

seems a bit steep to me unless they know that it is desirable to morris fans or maybe I,m just a bit tight.

Is it complete with valves rockers etc? Sounds good price to me for a big valve head....

The sintered rockers are useless anyway! Similar heads usually sell for £20/25 on ebay - but then postage of about £15 on top. You also need to check - does it have the large inlet valves - or just the normal small ones ? large worth more - small worth less - although may be 'unleaded'. But overall - if you can beat them down to £35 and be prepared to go up to £40 it would be an OK buy - but not excatly a 'bargain'. If they will throw in the alloy inlet manifold (and maybe the carb ??) then well worth the asking price.
