well it ooks like Bettis as my son has named him has a new home well actually its the same one he has had for the last 6 years but he is not sharing it with 2 trailer loads of crap he burst into life after we put some petrol in it so it looks like my trip to Brooklands has shifted my backside into gear and we intend to make a start when the rest of the garage has been sorted Morris is now next door all on his own dont want to distress him he,s been through to much with his rebuild. the pile in the middle of the workshop is the next trailor load for the tip [not the Lambretta] if you remember the picture challenge of inside my garage you will see what a change it is. My new motto has to be if we havent used it in the last couple of years we don,t need it [Exemption on that for Morris parts]
Image

Image

Image
Must be great being able to work all the way around the car in a garage. I have problems using drum pullers sometimes as the centre bolt locks onto the garage wall before the thing has opened up enough!! grrr

well today Bettis got a nice shiny coat of paint on the floor shame on you for encouraging me by saying how big my workshop is I think I have not apreciated the fact I can get 6 cars in bay 1and 2 with another workshop next door poss 2 more I must give myself 3000 lines to apreciate it more. The bay we have just cleaned and painted we have not even been in that one doing anything since we moved here 12 yrs ago.More progress tomorrow as we have decided to do the next bay.
Image
I know it,s the most stupid name I have ever heard of why could he have not called it something like thunder or thor or something manly. no my stupid son decided its got to be different can,t get him to change it he just ignores me as I have had the car 6 yrs in the back of the garage and just given it to him he say,s he has the right to call it what he wants. shall I take it back unless he calls it a proper name.

lol

The first thing I thought of was a beautiful place in Wales, Betwys-y-Coed, the shortened form of which is pronounced "Bettis" 8)

is,nt it strange I,m never in a real good mood unless I,m working in the garage and it,s so nice to see the garage clean and tidy. yet if I walk in the house and it,s not tidy it does,nt bother me. I can divorce the wife but I could,nt divorce the garage Need treatment must get the medicine out LOL
