Does anyone have any idea what this car is ?
It was spotted by a friend during a walk down the Grand Canal in Ireland over the weekend. Looks like a Fiat or Volvo to me, but not sure ??

Wrong rear lights for that.

If you didn't have to look up the number you can claim a points victory... God bless Classic and Sportsjacket's "A-Z of Cars 1945-1970"

Just possible this is the updated Romanian version of the Renault 12, i.e. the Dacia 1300. These had a reshaped front with four round head-lights, and bigger rear light clusters

Ah that's the one

Very close call with the Renault as far as the top photo goes but you can just see the vent at the base of the real screen pillar.
So long since I saw a saloon - the survivors I've seen all seem to be estates.

Hard to tell really at the distance and blowing up the photo doesn't do much good either, but it does sort of look like the Peugeot as it has the larger rear light clusters. All the others look too small.

Got to be the Peugeot. I can see some curvature to the inner edges of the lights and there is that vent panel at the base of the rear pillar.

OK, here's another one - amazing peace of footage, but I've no idea what the cars is (Lada Samara? Hyundai Pony?). Even if you can't identify the car it is an interesting piece of footage!
